Geo-Flo’s socket faces are used to create fusion joints between polyethylene pipe and fittings. The socket faces are attached to a socket fusion iron and heated to the proper temperature for fusion. These tools are manufactured from aluminum and feature non-stick coating to prevent the HPDE pipe and fittings from sticking to the hot surfaces ensuring a successful fusion joint. Geo-Flo’s socket faces are manufactured to the specifications of ASTM F1056: Standard Specification For Socket Fusion Tools For Use In Socket Fusion Joining Polyethylene Pipe Or Tubing And Fittings.
