The FLXL1D and FLXL2D SuperBrute XL flow centers use 2” full flow 3-way 4-position flushing and service valves along with three-speed Grundfos UPS60-150 pumps integrated into a foam-insulated powder-coated steel cabinets to help prevent condensation when pumping low temperature fluids. These modular flow centers come with the valves separated from the insulated pump allowing the contractor the choice of where the flush valves are located with respect to the pump while separating the weight of the entire flow center to more manageable pieces. The two pump FLXL2D flow centers are ideal for 6- to 10-ton ground loop systems. The one-pump FLXL1D center is useful in high flow, low head applications such as ground loops with large circuit piping. It is also a good solution between the heat pump and buffer tank on large (10- to 12-ton) water-to-water systems. Note that the insulated pump portion of this flow center can be purchased alone (PN 1360) if the 3-way flush valves are not needed , or if a FLXL1D needs to be updated to a FLXL2D.
